Blue Spire Design has just finished a video project creating high quality Show Reels for the feature films Wind in the Willows, East is East and the TV series Psychoville, Gunpowder, Treason & Plot and Shooting the Past.
The commissioned Show Reels highlight one of film and tv’s premier designers, Penny Smith, who was the principal designer during the making each of the features listed above.
All five Show Reels have now been featured on the Knowledge Online, a London based website that celebrates high quality design work in film and television.

Our work using Online Marketing to promote the Grimsby Traditional Fish Smokers Group and its securing of International Recognition through Protected Status was highlighted in Novembers edition of Humber Business News.
Blue Spire Design are ‘doing the unimaginable when it comes to the forefathers of smoking – spreading the word on the internet – via information site Wikipedia and an AdWords campaign which, in turn, has seen a major uplift in visits to the website of the Grimsby Traditional Fish Smokers’ Group [designed by Blue Spire], detailing the history, method and pride in the product and process.
The Chairman of the GTFS Group said: “I think we have all noted success in that we have all picked up the odd customer and that customers we already had are more informed and are really pushing the product themselves, therefore creating extra trade.”
Another interesting and enjoyable project has been the creation of a new website for the Kensington Salon in Lincoln in the UK.

Recently we have been providing a Graphic Design service to the British Harness Racing Club.
It was an exciting challenge to express both the speed and precision of harness racing, a growing and highly skilled sport.

We have just produced a new website for Lincolnshire landscape photographer Richard Enderby.
The website features a number of dynamic image galleries portraying a seasonal range of Richard’s photographs.

The website also celebrates a new DVD created by Richard featuring a selection of photographs that take you on a journey through the Lincolnshire landscape. The photographs are accompanied by the music of Vaughan Williams and proceeds from the DVD are going to the restoration of St Lawrence church Aylesby.

Today we launch an exciting new website for the internationally recognised Grimsby Traditional Fish Smokers Group.
The European Union has awarded the Group with a Protected Geographical Indication, which recognises and guarantees the high quality and skill which has gone into Grimsby Traditional Smoked Fish over many generations.
The GTFS Group are one of only four groups working in seafood to ever receive this accolade within the United Kingdom. The GTFS Group are also part of the Humber Business Cluster which recently beat many trading hubs across the UK to be one of the first areas to receive a ‘Cluster Mark’ from the Government, highlighting the areas continued success as one of the worlds largest players in the food industry.
Blue Spire Design currently provide a full marketing service for the Group. The new website follows a 20 page Brochure we designed for the Group and precedes a Blue Spire managed online marketing campaign.
Glebespray Boarding Kennels
We have just finished another website. The new website for Glebespray Boarding Kennels.
As well as our web design service, Glebespray hired Blue Spire Photography to create a selection of images that would highlight the beautiful countryside setting where the kennels are located.
It was a fun days shooting in a really nice environment. We especially enjoyed playing with Glebespray’s newest edition, Bud, a Labrador puppy and little terror! See Bud on the home page of the site.
